Colombo, May 28, 2026 — QiOn Technologies Founder and CEO Ludovico Finotto recently visited Sri Lanka alongside Isuru Yapa, CEO of 365 Future Energy, as part of a strategic delegation focused on exploring the country's evolving energy needs and future infrastructure opportunities.

During the visit, the delegation met with government officials and private sector stakeholders to discuss potential collaboration around modern energy technologies, including large-scale battery storage, EV charging infrastructure, smart-grid systems, and energy management solutions.

Two complementary visions

365 Future Energy brings experience in developing and connecting energy opportunities across markets, with a focus on renewable power infrastructure, storage, and long-term project development.

QiOn complements that vision with advanced charging technology, battery energy storage systems, and intelligent platforms designed to manage how energy is stored, distributed, and used.

Together, both companies can help connect strategic investment, technology, and local energy needs into scalable solutions for Sri Lanka's next stage of development.

From 365 Future Energy

"We see significant potential in Sri Lanka's future energy landscape. This visit is an important step in understanding how advanced international technologies and strategic partnerships can contribute toward sustainable energy development in the country."

Why Sri Lanka matters

For QiOn, Sri Lanka represents an important opportunity to support a more resilient and independent energy ecosystem. As industries, communities, and public institutions face growing pressure to optimize generation, storage, and distribution, advanced energy systems can play a key role in improving reliability, reducing grid stress, and enabling smarter use of locally generated power.

QiOn welcomes conversations with companies, investors, and institutions across Sri Lanka and South Asia looking to strengthen energy independence, improve operational resilience, and deploy modern energy systems adapted to local infrastructure needs.
